Jennah Vainio s SSAA choral work At Midnight is set on the midnight hour, when the important questions of life come to mind. Life is portrayed as a continuum; end is not an end, beginning is not a beginning, victory not a victory. Delicate harmonies and tasteful arches give from to At Midnight. The work is dedicated to Kaari-Ensemble and it was premiered in Berlin in spring 2017.
